Montpellier France Health Hub, a unifying project that helps local stakeholders take action
An initiative of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, the project seeks to mobilize the health ecosystem, including education and training, research and care, companies, and public authorities, to develop major projects, stimulate development in the health sector, encourage company growth, and promote the Montpellier metropolitan area internationally.
The Montpellier France Health Hub project is designed as a collective effort, bringing together stakeholders from different horizons and helping local players take action.

The emergence of collective initiatives
Companies participating in international delegations
Ten Montpellier companies went to Philadelphia in June 2019 to attend a major international conference on biotechnologies: Bio International Convention. They proudly represented the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole area as part of the Montpellier France Health Hub initiative, alongside the Eurobiomed competitiveness cluster.
Futurapolis health
A new event focusing on the latest feats of science, organized by the magazine Le Point. An opportunity for audiences to meet doctors, scientists, public figures, writers, and philosophers. The event program includes conferences, along with equipment and technology demonstrations in the Discovery Gallery.
Training dedicated to health companies
Six Montpellier startups benefited from “Investor pitch training” sessions in the Spring of 2019. The training concluded with the “Montpellier France Health Hub Invest” event on April 26, notably with the participation of Bpifrance, IRDI Soridec, and MELIES Business Angels.
