The area features a major university hospital, large companies (Bausch+Lomb, HORIBA Médical, Sanofi), innovative SMEs and VSEs, high-level research centers, and the Eurobiomed competitiveness cluster (France’s leading health network and Europe’s leading medical diagnostics network).
Strong points for the territory also include medical diagnostics, e-health, cancer research and treatment, genetics, regenerative medicine, innovative therapies, the silver economy, and research on rare diseases.
